The NETBible pens 1 Peter 4:7 this way, “For the culmination of all things is near”. What are the things in your life right now that you could relate to this verse?
Case Study: Create a story of a friend in that has just had an unexpected tragedy in her life. Can you stop what you’re doing and personally meet your friends needs?
What does a “clear-minded” life look like today? Why does Peter believe that this is so important?
Think about each of the 5 qualities that Peter mentions in 1 Peter 4:7-11. Peter says that each of these qualities should not only be the norm but the eager practice of every believer. If a body of believers is committed to living their life accordingly, what will be the impact for the friend in Question 2?
Verse 10 says that we should be practicing our spiritual giftedness within the body of believers around us. How is this happening in your life? If not, what steps can you take to allow this to happen?
